Considering he arrived with the least fan fare this summer from a team that was relegated from the unibond premier, he has stepped up to confrence level easily, there have been a few struggles but that is to be expected. i beleive he was our best player last night and has been one of the bright notes on this season so far, i hope he keeps it up.

so song ideas? does anything rhyme with danylyk?

To the tune of 'agadoo'

"Danylyk, Danylyk only cost about a tanner
Danylyk, Danylyk, if I could spell it, I'd make a banner!" *

*Still working on getting it to scan correctly!!!!  ::) ;D

Probably been said on another thread, but Anthony Danylyk was by far and away our best player last night - even including the brilliant Lee Elam! I hope to God he's on a contract!

I was impressed by his ability to pass the ball forward (take note Mr Lawton) and actually get his man :) I thought him and Elam linked up really well.

Danylyk's full of tricks
Watch him score at northwich vics
If he can't do that, he'll get some in the Cup
Him and Alty's stayin' up!

I am glad it has worked out for him, I remember at the start of the season that I logged that I thought he may be the man to watch, glad I was proved right.

I might add that his best asset is breaking down the oppositions play, several times last night he bolloxed up Mansfields attacking moves and started counter attacks. Spreaded the ball out well, particularly out to the left wing. Hes a good player who deserves to keep his place so far.

This was before i had even seen him play, based on his pedegree at Leek.

Was not outstanding in the friendlies, but has come on in leaps and bounds since the season started.

Nice one Anthony.

Hes fast, hes quick, his footballs very slick, Danylyck, Danylyck!!

Need I say more
