That was a fine win against a tough tackling team in windy conditions. Could easily have been 5 or 6 nil.
This Sunday 30th Sept we are home against Sale Utd LFC in a local Derby at MV.

FT Alty Reserves 1 Runcorn Linnets 3. The reserves long league unbeaten run comes to an end.

The Ladies Reserves battled throughout the game, not helped by myself having to referee the game, due to the appointed referee crying of ill at midday. The Ladies took the lead from an excellent fee kick. But were down 1-2 at HT. Options on the bench were limited due to lack of personnel availability yesterday, but we gigged the line up for second half and made a number of opportunities but failed to capitalise on them. Undone near the end when Runcorn broke out of there half and secured the victory. Disappointing but hopefully we will learn from this hiccup. On wards to West Kirkby away, on paper an even tougher game. Dave

The report on Runcorn Linnets Ladies FC FB page is not very complimentary. It is a very creative report.

I read the report, I gave decisions based on where I was stood and with what I could see, as we all know different angles produce different views on decisions. I was fair in my opinion.

Tough away game @ West Kirby on the Wirral this week. They are unbeaten thus far. Looking to bounce back but I have key personnel missing this weekend which does not help. All support most welcome.

Excellent away draw today against a very physical team in difficult conditions. Having no specialist GK today made the result more impressive. Nat Thornley getting our goal with a curling shot into the far top corner of the net from 20 yards.
