I had the pleasure of standing next to Joey Jones on the terraces at Bromley yesterday. A bright, articulate young man. I got quite an insight into the career of a modern footballer, which he communicated really well. He has a lot to offer to younger players, and I can see him being an excellent mentor. He might not have played much this year, but I have no doubt at all that he will have made a big positive difference to many of the younger lads behind the scenes.

He also said that he was on a one-year deal, and with his injury he's likely to have to go and train with clubs to show he's fit before he gets anything. I wish him well.

I believe Ethan, CCC, Baines, Cooper, E Jones, Osbourne are all contracted, but does not mean they will not be lured away. Think Parky will let a few go, so can release funds to freshen up. Some tough decisions over next few weeks for neil and sorv's I imagine players under risk will include Money, Kosylo, Roscoe, Angus, hancox, Donowa, Joey Jones.

Hope we can keep hold of Newby.

I'd certainly like to see Mooney, Hancox and Newby staying but I could see the rest moving on.
Actually, perhaps not Kosylo.

I'd think most of them.
Sadly, after listening to Parky's post match interview, I suspect we'll see some on the move and, hopefully some even better ones coming in. He also said that some would not be having their contracts renewed as part of the drive to improve and progress.
It'll be very interesting over the next few weeks to watch developments.

it was anounced some time last year that from 2024/2025 season two would get auto promotion to league and a third via the play offs.here is a link but it does not say its been accepted yet,but i did hear somewhere that it has been agreed.

If this was the result of the NL Board bending over and asking how deep with regards to cup replays, I can honestly accept that. Oh and that god forsaken u21 comp they suggested.

I don't think it happens this close season though.

Back to the result yesterday... Our team are heroes, the result was wank and we're at least capable of going again even without CCC.

Always wanted to see us win the Trophy as well tbf.

others have said it all really, but must say overall pleased with our progress this season. Shame we didn't play midweek and get momentum playing Halifax. Pitch was awful as expected. We were sat down. That was awful experience and they wont get away with that in the efl. No segregation at all. Would never sit down there again if we have to go back. To take 700 fans 230 miles away was immense though. On to next season, will be interesting to see who goes and who joins us.

"Next season the first two go up automatically"

I haven't seen that mentioned anywhere. What about playoffs?
