"A local referee" will inspect at 0930 tomorrow morning. If that "local referee" is a Mr. A. Taylor, we might as well say now it'll be off ... however, if it passes then the match ref may want to inspect nearer kick-off. See club website for more detail.
A point or two if I may Mike?
Firstly it will not be Mr A Taylor
Secondly I find the criticism of Mr Taylor unwarranted, uninformed and frankly unpleasant.
I have, as you will be aware, known Mr Taylor for many years and have the privilege to class him as a friend. I have officiated with him and would advise that, throughout his career he has generally been considered an official more likely to play a game than call one off.
Anthony is also a friend of the Club - Buys season Tickets, provides, where possible Raffle prizes, did a fundraiser for the Club FOR FREE and never claims the fee he is entitled to for pitch inspections. How anyone can think that he would be so "picky" about a pitch to call a game off when there was any chance of playing it, therefore costing the Club money I really do not understand
