Today's match between Altrincham and Dover Athletic has been postponed. The pitch was inspected this morning by Premier League referee Anthony Taylor, who lives locally. Although the surface appears fine from the Main Stand side there are other areas of the pitch where the ball does not bounce.

The club have given more detail on the postponement today. Part of the pitch was waterlogged by an overnight downpour, Two areas either side of the halfway line on the far side and the corner of the Golf Road end were affected. As the water table levels around the ground remain high there is nowhere for the water to drain to until they lower on the far side hence the waterlogging. It's a disappointing outcome for everyone.
