Via A3(M) continue onto M27 and leave onto the A2030 Eastern Ave following signs for Southsea with the water/Langstone Harbour on your left. Continue for about 2-3 miles, you will see a large pub The Good Companion on the left. Fratton Park is straight ahead you should see the floodlight towers unless they have changed the lighting. No idea about parking near there, lots of side streets but there may well be restrictions. You can go left soon after the Good Companion towards Milton, again lots of side roads.
Our lights have been changed during the summer with 2 of the floodlight towers having been removed and the 3rd being imminent when the Emergency Services Radio Transmitter has been relocated. We now have led halogen projector lights on the stand roofs.
Finding the ground is easy you just leave the Motorway at A2030 Eastern Avenue and follow the large brown signs that say "Portsmouth FC" with a football.
Parking is mainly side street but you have to be careful of the restrictions. I generally park in the Langstone harbour viewing car park (free) which you will see on the left on Eastern Avenue just before the speed limit drops from 50 to 40. Its about 1 1/2 mile walk to the ground but I need the exercise!
The M27 between Southampton and Fareham is in the throws of being of being converted to a smart motorway with narrow lanes and average speed cameras.
