Have they lost only one since mid November? It just goes to show how important it is to have a couple of quality centre backs and a useful keeper.

I think that the main reason we are failing to deal with virtually all crosses and set pieces that invade our box has much more to do with the lack of any Centre Back intervention. This has left Ollie vulnerable to some harsh criticism that I do not feel he deserves right now. I agree that he has made a few mistakes but lets give him a rest and another chance playing alongside a couple of decent CBs before we judge him.

Decent CB? Baines will be playing EFL football soon, and Jones got a move from North to League 2. He had Mullarky as well.

He needs to command that area. Not be glued to his line

I would expect us to make an offer for Miles next season, which could open a door to pry Ferguson back FT.

I would expect Bennet to be made permenant in the summer once his contract with Preston finishes up.

Cashman and Sinclair I expect like Jones we're looking to for next year but Sinclair form may get him a move elsewhere

Gyasi need to clearly show what he's got as hes down the pecking order and Chesterfield are going to have to spend big if they want to win the open league (assume Wrexham and Notts go up)

Superb although we might be restricted on number of loans in league games, guessing hes not cup tied

Miles will start most weeks, giving us 4 loan places available. Of which Cashman, Sinclair, Bennett, Maxi, Junior and any of the United lads will fill based on injures

What about Gyasi? Are you assuming he's going to be starting most times like miles?

Forgot he'd signed :-\ which is hardly ideal.

No.10 is an important position in our team.

Cashman looked very disinterested tonight, albeit he was out of position for a lot of the game.

Osborne had a good game but he isn't good enough to make things happen.

We are better with two wingers on the pitch, so why not try Ben for a few games at no.10. He has never been given a proper opportunity, like others. He see's passes that other's don't and can't do.

On a seperate note, Linney looks very good. Strong and confident lad. Hulme is giving his all but I feel Linney would give us more of an attacking outlet.

Linney not turning up on time - traffic or not - is unacceptable for a lad wanting his chance at this level.

My uns=derstanding is, having been p/t at FCUM, is having to work his notice at his job.

This would make more sense

I'd just draw a line under the season with Matty and treat him like a new signing in the summer.

Pringle starting isn't the answer. Never does it when he starts. Looks a world beater against sides camped out on the edge of their box, knackered.

Was non-existent against Vauxhall Motors.

Still would play him against the King Lynn still clubs

I’m happy with Baines, Jones has an error in him, I would love to get Kyle Ferguson back here, for some reason I have a feeling he wouldn’t be too keen to return, hence, the reason we haven’t asked the question
Maybe we asked and the answer was no at the time, maybe ask again. Good shout that

I think Ferguson was injured over Xmas. But Id expect us to try for him come June.

What's Billy Sass Davies upto?

Looked a lot better when Pringle and Linney came on.

Can't believe people are slating Osbourne, thought he was our 2nd best player behind Marriott.

Welsh-Hayes had a poor game by his standards, but the real issue is Byrne. I believe we've invested heavy in him but he looks shot.

Going to be a long hard 2-3 weeks

Did we? I thought we got him for free hence the issuenin August.

This is the problem (and theres problems having 2 keepers in reduced quality) of 1 GK

September part 2.

I didn't go the game after getting a throat infection on the last train out of Saigon on Saturday.

But 2-0, 2-1 back huff and puff. Sounds oh so familiar.

Jordan looked to be holding his hamstring towards the end, will be interesting to see if he's fully fit on Tuesday or whether we have to put Regan Linney straight in.

Surely these other United lads have to feature at some point too - otherwise what's the point in the loan deal?

Would be keen to see more of Maxi Oyedele.
Think the Utd pair are for emergencies only. lose a couple more players then we might see them.

Oyedele, looked good on Saturday when came on.

Hulme went down a few times, will be surprised if plays on Tuesday. Big opportunity maybe for Linney

Not sure who got the assist for the 3rd, but the body movement to go clean through was class

The automatic gate that worked was smooth and quick to get in through. I was impressed

Ill be honest, i wasnt. On our 4 tickets, it took multiple goes eachz and the bloke holding our phone at a specific angle.

Bar the gate, a great set up
The two of us must have held phones at correct angle first time, as straight in.  ;D

Probably a bit more sober. Worked wonders at Chesterfield
