We will play twice as good and lose.....not a spectacle and as the Cult said to me....scored with our only shot on target

Yeah poor game.
Much better with Marriott and Lundstram CM.
Don't buzz watching us play that formation, really missing us have wingers.Where is Sinclair?
Linney should be starting, he is far more dangerous than Hulme and Hugill.
Big rotation Tuesday. Should give the likes of Bennett, Pringle etc some much needed minutes.
Saw Sinclair at HT in stands

I'd like to see the penalty again. I thought they both slipped
Deffo a penalty

I'm not keen on us getting a really big gate.

You have a fair point.......can also bring in plenty of local knobbers who have no interest in the result.

But I guess pound notes will always win the day....it is a business that needs to maximise revenue

For what it's worth, the indoor golf bar had a good range of beers on (including Madri and Blue Moon), was pleasant enough to thaw out in there afterwards and people watch (i.e. cheer on the kids having a go on the basketball hoop).

MegaBowl also.........and we got to watch toddlers running around and kids with balloons and birthday cake.......to be fair the place IS for kids and families and did not fancy 90 minutes under a concrete stand drinking freezing cold short measures of flat John Smiths in a plastic glass for the same over-inflated price as MegaBowl.  8)

Home is the main thing & by playing ‘Fax also guaranteed it should be a sell out with a much larger away support than ‘Heed or Barnet would have bought. Both sides will fancy their chances & difficult to read too much into the Christmas fixtures with the number of personnel changes we’ve had since then. A lot for the club to do off the pitch in the build up so patience to go with the inevitable giddiness & hundreds of enquiries they’ll be fielding in the run up. I’d anticipate a 5k sell out crowed with Fax getting about 1000 tickets.

Makes up for losing the Notts County game to (probably) a Tues

As long as we win, I don't care if it's a coin toss! 😉

For me, this was the best tie for us.......anything but Gateshead away

My wife noted on the way home that football grounds are the only places where men queue for toilets and woman walk straight in and out  ::)

Just to be clear I was commenting on the design of the ground, rather than its location/environment.

Yes I agree..........inside was fine and things ok. Men's toilets could be bigger, but on the whole ok.

The location and nearby places for food and drink......useless

I thought York was the best newbuild ground I've been to so far
Awful.........if we relocated out of town to something like that, I would find it hard to drag myself along every fortnight.

I have been made aware of trouble caused by away fans from another club in the adjacent Mega Bowl. We had a pint in there pre-match due to lack of outlets and it was full of kids parties. Alty fans are well behaved so the few who were in there were respectful of the surroundings. However I know this season that one clubs fans stood on tables chanting and the place had to be evacuated after a smoke-bomb was let off.

Good day out.....not the best of games, but all players got us over the line today quite comfortably.

What a souless place. These grounds ruining football at our level......a short measure of John Smiths under a concrete stand for almost a fiver ffs......give me the social club at Ashton United or a tour round Accrington before entering their decrepit ground anytime

Marriot...immense
Linney...great debut
Hulme....settling in to new role
Osbourne / Jones's / Baines......did  well

I think today confirmed we can compete with anyone.  A superb effort and defensively strong.  The back four were excellent as well as those already cited.  Woking did not look top 3 though.  I was a bit concerned about the state of the pitch. There seemed to be little grass on it
Pitch?.........looked ok for February to me
