Thank you totally enjoyed it.

Enjoyed it very much, very excited to hear who the new player is going to be!
Great to here the updates from Lawrence and Bill, even the little mention of our fan meetings every Sunday too.
-
Thoroughly enjoyed it and thanks to LL, Bill and Alty TV. Was great to see the feedback and ideas in the comments too.

Thanks for that. Entertaining, informative and inspiring.
You're doing a great job lads!
Come on you Supers!! 😉 👌👍

That was excellent. Really gave the fans a good insight into our off the pitch plans and the very positive overall direction of the club. The wider ground improvements, the plan on the pitch and the strategy to sign younger players who might progress up the ladder was all a delight to hear.

Excellent presentation and most informative. Towards the end of the programme the Academy and all the good work being done there was highlighted.
As regards an "academy" things must have changed from a few years ago where with the exception of a few EFL clubs e.g. Crewe, academies were restricted to premiership clubs who could demonstrate they had certain facilities like indoor training facilites etc etc. I remember Crewe building their famous dome thanks to the likes of Dario Gradi who with the board invested around £1m a year keeping the academy running. Academies played academies and most EFL teams had what was called Schools of Excellence for their youth players who again played each other. All the youth players playing in non league set ups at the time played in local leagues or leagues like The North West Youth Alliance (even a few league clubs like Morecambe played youth teams in the NWYA). So something must have changed. Are their different levels of academies and which teams do the Alty Academy play against?
Just really interested. SBL

The club goes from strength to strength. Where will it all end? The football league we all hope!

Just a quick heads-up. The original video including goals footage was always intended to be a one-off for Saturday afternoon and the link will be deleted shortly. It will be replaced by a new video without goals footage (just interview) which will be available permanently.
-
Should we attain football league status, the academy would be set to receive a fair bit of fa funding
