The Vanarama National League Broadcasting Academy
« on: July 14, 2015, 11:57:24 AM »

At the National League AGM in June, a new project sponsored by BT Sport and the Vanarama National League was announced, providing the opportunity for two people from each of the 24 member clubs for 2015/16 season  to access training from BT Sport TV professionals to produce weekly film clips of games, which may then be shown on BT Sport's new National League highlights programme.

The two media trainees, from each of the 24 clubs involved, will attend a two-day training course on July 21st & 22nd at Barnet Football Club, whose stadium and facilities have been made available for this project, including practice matches for the trainees to film.

Trainees will receive tuition in operating the equipment, filming techniques, conducting post-match interviews, editing the footage and delivering it to BT Sport via file transfer. It is also hoped that the trainees will film some of their club’s pre-season friendlies, edit the highlights and send them back.

This opportunity is ideal for students involved in sports media studies, however is open to everyone.

If you are interested in finding out more about this great opportunity to become involved with Altrincham Football Club, please contact Brian Flynn (07860 561011/brianflynn59@hotmail.com).
