Wouldnt it be weird if we passed them on the way down, it could happen. Who would have thought that 10 years ago, even 5 years ago?

Just heard Ian Bogie interviewed. He reckons the current squad wouldn't get in the top half of BSN.  Where do they go from here?

Wow, I remember years ago going to watch them in the old League One (now championship) having local derbies against Man City!  Amazing how different their fates have been.  Cannot believe it's possible Alty could be in a higher league than them!  Completely surreal...  Alternatively could be an equally surreal trip to Edgeley Park next season!

Just had a browse on their forum. Having witnessed spineless performances in a relegation battle, I feel for them. The genuine fans anyway who have seen it all season, not the ones who were always going to cause trouble.

Good for us though that one way or the other we will have a big derby at Christmas, be it Macc or Stockport.

"top effort Harriers, couldn't ask any more. No place in football for the disgraceful scenes from Stockport County 'fans' - hitting your own players and making kids cry is f**king despicable. Conference North is too good for you."

The above is from my Kiddy supporting mate. To add a level of fairness to it, this is also the same guy who said that Carl Piergianni's "red card"  challenge at Aggborough 2 years ago was the best tackle he'd seen there.

Most of that didn't seem to make much sense to me. Guy seemed to be saying, I'm not condoning it, but I hate anyone who disapproves of it.  ???

The bloke was trying to get his emotions out.  As there is no mention of him smacking players or going on the pitch I'd rather he carried on typing away at a keyboard.  It's not 1978 as somebody posted on there but this bloke is looking back to a time when he was younger, fitter and al lthat stuff.  This looks to me as a rather perverse bit of nostalgia.  Doesn't make it right, but it certainly is better than some old bloke making a cock of himself pretending he's still 20 something.

Just come down from West Mercia Police:

Kidderminster v Stockport Disorder - Update

A man arrested following disorder at yesterday's Football Conference tie between Kidderminster Harriers and Stockport County has been bailed to appear at court on suspicion of common assault.

The man, who is in his 20s and was among the travelling Stockport supporters, has been given strict bail conditions not to attend football matches.  He will appear before Kidderminster Magistrates on May 9.

The arrest followed a pitch invasion by a number of Stockport supporters during the second half of the match.  Players from both sides were confronted by the group and a Harriers player was assaulted.  The referee suspended the match and withdrew the players.

Police entered the ground to quell the disorder and the match resumed after a half-hour delay.

A large police presence was maintained in the area after the match but there were no further arrests.

Officers will now continue to work with both clubs, match officials and colleagues from Greater Manchester Police to identify all those responsible for disorder in the ground.
