I think it's a great move. He's young, strong and can come back better.

I agree with this, like with Brad it's a move that can suit all parties.

Hopefully he can bag a few and come back full of confidence.

I would have loaned out Dinanga before Peers every day of the week. (I know some people on here may disagree) but if he comes back reinvigorated then fantastic.
Good luck Tom. See you back here soon!

PS. Possibly couldn't find a taker for Dinanga 😉

I'd say it's because Tom still has bags of potential... I'm not sure I'd say that for Dinanga.

I hadn't looked at it that way but I'm sure you're right.

I hope I'm right about Tom, but I hope I'm wrong about Dinanga and he comes good!!  ;D

Your fairness does you credit but I'm afraid you're correct in your assessments.

Peers best Spell was after his return from Seattle Yankee Blowfish or whatever the American side was called.

Came back with a point to prove, I'd welcome him back if there's a positive spell.

Tom Peers is actually older than Marcus Dinanga. Having said that, I was very surprised to see him go out on loan rather than Dinanga.

I assume we must be bringing somebody in, but hopefully he will bounce back again from a successful loan spell. Ashton-under-Lyne in the winter might be less inspiring than New Orleans in the summer though.

Assuming he gets into the starting lineup with competition for the striker's role coming from those colossi Craig Hobson and Nyal Bell it should make him feel like Ronaldo.

I think his time would be better spent watching old Alty videos and how Jordan used to boss the other teams defenders. On the pitch he was always an animal and it got results. I don't think Tom is anywhere near as physical and that is what is holding him back.

What's holding him back is his low conversion rate of chances. I feel he'd be better concentrating on that.
Playing at NLN level he should get more game time, more time on the ball, more chances leading to some goals and a consequent boost for his confidence.
