HIGHLIGHTS ON TV

The BBC has confirmed that it will come to Moss Lane to check the facilities this week but, all things being equal, they will record highlights of our game against Millwall on 10 November for inclusion in Match of the Day.
Meanwhile the club awaits confirmation of the policing arrangements. Millwall sources expect around 750 of their supporters to travel to

Even more potential for sponsorship money now as well with extended tv coverage. Just the kind of exposure this club needs.

Whilst I haven't a clue about what money we'd get from GMR radio etc the full schedule of payments for prize money and teleivision and radio appearances with FA partners (sky, bbc, radio 5 etc) are here

If you can't be arsed looking we get £13k for MOTD highlghts, and Tony Spilsbury gets a day off too.  :)

Good point Alty365

Suddenly the world and his wife will want a sponsor board and you can double the price.

Big media companies are suddenly interested despite laughing at you weeks before.  I remember from my commercial manager days for the Darlington game the way it goes nuts.

Thank God we have an excellent volunteer in Barry Pond to co-ordinate it all.

It's amazing how much can hinge on one result. Without Saturday's win at Kendal there would have been none of the following:

Highlights on BBC
Reports on 5 live
Money from tv and radio
Extra sponsorship of match & matchball
Extra perimeter advertising revenue
Extra ticket sales
Extra golden goal ticket sales
Extra programme sales
Extra bar and snack sales before and after the game
Potential to attract new supporters by demonstrating to newcomers how friendly and professional our club is

There may well be more but you start to see now what we've been missing out on for most of the last decade. It's great to be back in the FA Cup!
