Big game this.... looking at the table and fixtures, winning tomorrow would put us 4th and then winning saturday and dependant on ther results (ieChester v Brackley & Gainsbourgh v Boston) cut the gap between us and third to just 6 points...

Could one of you guys who lives local give an honest thought on whether the game will be on or off tomorrow as we both have the day off and intend to travel up to Alty early and make a day of it

The only problem would be potential flooding as a lot of rain is expected this evening & with that added to
what was left behind after the weekend snow, who knows.
A lot will depend on how much rain we get.

A storming start to the second half of the season with a clean sheet.

After a first half in which both sides struggle to find any cohesion, Alty finally click into gear around the hour mark and go on to win 2-0 with goals from Watmore and Moult. Attendance 612

Alty to win 3-0 with Heathcote, Rogers and Flaherty sorry Johnson, Rogers and Howard, no make that Rogers Heathcote and Davison scoring the goals.
We ALWAYS used to beat them 3-0 (77-8, 78-9 and 79-80 there).

A horrible match played in shocking conditions. The wind comes to our rescue in the 87th min when a 'Havern Hoof' from our 18yrd area catches a gust and swirls over their stranded keeper.

I'd be astounded if they only brought 13.

We don't have the ideal personnel to play in sh*te conditions. I'd like to think we'll get the win but a draw wouldn't be terrible.
Is the Halifax game going ahead tonight? Hopefully not. I'm beginning to think we'll finish ahead of them due to their end of season exhaustion when they're playing every other day.
