Possibly the team will pick itself.
I guess that Simon will be in for Dens and the rest as last nights starting lineup.
Planning on going, come on Alty.
-
Merrie may start in place of Harrop, but not much can change.
Grantham 1-1 Alty (Moult)
-
Grantham 7/4
Draw 5/2
Alty 11/10
Will be tough, hopefully dens will be ok but I’m Sure we will find out today. Both sides will be a bit leggy after having played 3 times in six days this week. Grantham really need a win to stand a chance of second place. Let’s hope that means they’ll have to go at us leaving us space going forward
-
2-2 draw (Hulme, Hannigan). Not a disaster if we lose, since I can't see Warrington getting a win there next week, even though they're emerging from their mini slump.
-
I'll be there... Can't wait
-
Looks like we'll have a good turn out. Only downside is that they play at an athletics stadium so we'll be miles from the pitch.
-
Wouldn't mind us being segregated tomorrow, just to get us all packed together.
Please, let's try our best not to spread out around the ground like we usually do. Come join us and make some noise if you're able! :)
-
Really tough match, but we'll get what we need to get.
-
Just booked on the coach for tomorrow simply
Cannot miss this.on a night shift tonight so appoligies
To my fellow fans if they here my snoring on route to Grantham ;D
-
Im not expecting anything...the players have had 2 absolute battles away from home and this is the 3rd this week....im knackered after last night....the players must be getting jaded
Having said that it wouldnt surprise me if the lads went out and won the title in style...
Bear in mind warrington not winning also hands it to us.
Brilliant effort by the lads to get us into this position.

Can't see Warrington not beating Halesowen

According to their website there is a 1000-capacity covered terrace opposite the main stand and open terraces either side of the stand. These look like the best areas for standing spectators as the ends are described as flat hard standing beyond the athletics track. Granted, there's still the track between you and the pitch but side on looks the best option.
At least Grantham come into the game having played Tuesday & Thursday as well ... and with their prospects of a home play-off tie still to play for, so they won't be relaxed either. I would love to think we could go into next week's home games with everything done & dusted, so not having to take any long-term risks with team selection against sides with nothing much to play for. Here's hoping ...

I just want to club to try and get a result tomorrow. I know by their mindset how they go out to win every game. A lot of teams may have crumbled yesterday after conceding a penalty, we showed great spirit to win that game and I think it was our most impressive result of this season. Just go out to get a result whatever, don't wait for the easier home games, finish it tomorrow then we can all relax, mend our current injured players and then build for next season in a higher league. Blatantly obvious I know but this is where we differ from previous teams we have had playing.
Special credit to Simon, Shaun and Jake; been through bad times and now good, and are still here. Enjoy the good boys!!
Good luck to you all, cannot go due to financial restrictions, but will listen on RR. Got a headache after last night's game.
Well done everybody for getting us into this position, now finish the job and make all your valiant efforts worthwhile.
Steve the eternal optimist!! and why not.....

New lengths to get to a game tomorrow.
120 miles each way in 2005 Yaris 1 ltr engine
75 miles of each trip with my daughter driving, in advance of her test next week for the practice (dropping her off to see a mate in Leicester on the way)
We better bloody win it!

That may just top my 156 mile round trip from Darley Dale to (almost) Stourbridge in a blizzard, in a 2005 Ka. At least tomorrow shouldn't be fruitless due to late abandonment ! See you there.

Without Mrs T we would not have had the right to buy and now our young people would not be able to afford to buy their own house, particularly in Altrincham where her policies have kept hose prices so low. ;)

Nice one!
Well done to PP, NS and all the lads for turning the teams' fortunes around after 2 terrible relegations. No easy feat but they have done it in style & with 2 games to go.
Enjoy it lads, well deserved! ;D 8)
-
Champions!!! Great set of performances this week to clinch the title with 2 games 2 spare. Massive congratulations, to players, management and fans!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Kenny Palin would be proud of you
-
Won it in style. Even first half, but we were majestic in the second. But for the classy Preston we could easily have had 5.
Great performances all over the pitch, but must mention Hampson who looked like he'd been a centre back forever, and Merrie who worked his socks off.
-
That was a potentially very difficult 4 matches in 8 days. Who would have reckoned on 10 points out of 12?
-
Well done alty next target 100 goals in the league
-
Zigger. Zagger Zigger Zagger...
-
Fantastic to secure the league today, well done to PP, management, players and supporters getting us promoted.
Thought we bossed the game especially second half, there keeper was excellent keeping us out 5+ times with top saves.
Thought Ringo was excellent as was Merrie. TBH all the team gave 100%.
Buzzing. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
Well done to all especially the fans that have gone all season, hope Kenny and the skipper are smiling above us! Big crowd on sat to see us back to the right level and hopefully momentum stays with us next season. The alty!!!!!
-
Terribly bouncy pitch. They probably should have scored first.
Once we scored they fell apart. You could see why their keeper was in the team of the year, without his efforts it would have 5 or 6.
No idea who our mom was but Merrie was class in the middle.
-
Impossible to name a motm today, unless you include their keeper, who was bloody brilliant. All our lads turned up and put a shift in. Surely Hampson has played centre half before? Neither he nor Tom Hannigan ever looked like they were in any danger at all. Ringo was top notch, as were both Merrie and Harrop when he came on (never realised Max was that fast). Some of the performances today have given the boss a headache for next season. They all looked very comfortable. A great day and a great performance on a dreadful pitch. Good ref too btw.
-
Delighted I made the effort to get there, just back home. Great season and really looking forward to getting to more games next year
I love the fact that the injured players joined the fans for the majority of the second half and joined in some of the singing........we're not bobbins anymore......
-
The players were there in the first half as well. Excellent ;D
