Saw him tonight playing on loan for Witton at Nantwich. Nantwich won easily 2-0.

I refer to cote's comments in the Kettering programme following the Barrow game where he said something along the lines of:
"Don't slate the players if we're more exposed at the back when playing attacking football [...] It's what you wanted"
It's still what we want. We appear to be just as (if not more) exposed at the back since we reverted back to the current, more negative, approach. As others on here have said, I'd much rather see us lose 4-3 than 1-0 or 3-0. After all, if you can score 3 goals in a game you won't often lose.

A caller on radio stoke last night suggested that Colin Little has turned down a return to Crewe 
Yet another non league striker has turned them down but they were unable to confirm who. Can't see it being Col though.

There are too many "passes" being hit without the players looking where they're hitting it to. This only puts us under more pressure. surely the players we have are capable of more composure and awareness on the ball?

Why is it we give the opposition far too much space and time on the ball? get a challenge in or close them down like you bloody mean it.
Talking to a Crewe fan at work he says that Dario likes his teams to "intercept" rather than "tackle". That's bollocks and I hope we're not adopting this approach! Get amongst them and let them know they're in a game.
Also, why is it when a ball is lofted in the air, and is going straight to an unmarked opposition player, no one makes a challenge? Quite often from a goal kick or hopeful hoof upfield all players are facing the ball and an unmarked oppostion player is allowed to head it or bring it down unchallenged. more often than not one of our players is within a couple of strides of and facing him and yet no challenge. When you realise it's not quite going to reach you...go and get it!
We are certainly lacking the fighting spirit we had the last 2 seasons and it's costing us.

We do stand a chance of winning on Saturday as long as we do not turn it into a "who can kick ged Murphy" competition as we did against Stafford at home last season. I have no doubt he will be running round trying to wind any of our players up that will take the bait and we just need to rise above it and concentrate on the game!

Don't know whether I heard it correctly but I'm sure their keeper said to one of our fans at the Golf Rd end that "why have you taken one of your best players off?". I assume he was talking about Joe O'Neill who is unfairly slated on here from some corners. We're just not playing to his strengths (or any of the players for that matter).
