I suspect we'll wn this one, it'll be an erratic end to an erratic season.

Can't say I'm overly arsed about the XI at this stage but do feel we're shooting ourselves in the foot not going with Linney as the striker in our preferred 4-2-3-1 and working backwards from there. If he's the man we're banking on next season then let's set the tone now.

Appreciate the lack of wingers but Pringle, Hulme, Bennett and even Hugill can all do a job there.

3-1 Alty. Lose to Torquay. Draw at Aldershot.

I too would like to see Linney up top, not sure the arrangement over Hugill, but he clearly get's a lot of game time. Hopefully Parky gets tactics right and we finish strong. Should be targeting at least 5 points from these last 3 games. personally would target 7 points, 2 home wins and away draw.

Loving this degree of confidence!
Wish, sincerely, I could bring myself to share it.

We need another 4.5 points to surpass last season's PPG total, which was bang-on 1.25 (55 in 44) - which makes the weekend result all the more frustrating.

I fancy us to put it right at home to a Daggers side that will be on the beach as much as we are - but I can't see us beating Torquay or Aldershot.

Nobody can be on the beach until we are 'safe'.....complacency is something to avoid in this league.....5 secs from Wembley

Torquay would have to win all three of their remaining games, whilst York and Maidenhead each need to pick up four points from their remaining two games, avoiding any kind of defeat.

Looking at the league table, I suspect the lowest we'll probably drop to is 17th.

While relegation is unlikely, it's not implausible. Many of the games involving our relegation rivals are actually winnable. Several involve teams who will either be safely confirmed as champions, safely in the play offs or saving themselves for a Wembley final. I think we need a result of some sort v the Daggers.
