From the report on BBC:

"He added: "We know the Moss Rose is ageing and, because of the constraints at the current ground and the geography, our preference would be to do that in another site close to the town of Macclesfield." "

Does Mr Rance not realise that most new grounds only seem to get planning permission to get built miles out of the town centre and/or on industrial estates? Examples that spring to mind are Northwich, Witton, Chester, Weymouth, Burton ....

Somehow I can see them doing a Chester - playing at another ground (Deva Stadium anyone??) for several years while they await their new ground to be completed!!

Let's hope they do, for it will be another new ground for us to visit in the conference.
