We are playing in the famous red and white on saturday

Due to Luton launching thier new blue away kit which they will be wearing, Altrincham are playing in there red and white home kit but with white shorts.

So make sure you have plenty of red and white balloons.

At one time the FA Cup rules were that the home team were obliged to change strip. Irecall City playing at home to Reading and playing in maroon in the 1960's.
I dont recall this actually changing, rather than clubs continuing League rules.
The one FA Cup tie when we had to change being the home team was against Orient.
This was because Orient turned up with 2 kits both which clashed with our Red and White stripes. One kit was Red with white trimmings and the other White with red trimmings !

No No No, I hate it when we wear the home kit with white shorts, seem to have terrible bad luck...

Am I right in thinking a team once had problems with a kit and wore our away kit at ML ?

I knew this would start a debate......I'm amazed we're not wearing the black and red stripes that did us proud at Birmingham.

I hope we're wearing red socks?

I think that may have been Alfreton in 1997....didn't they wear the one that was similar to Scotland's kit?
