"Seddon wants to come off his herbal diet cos it ain't doing his football any good, and I shudder to think what diet Greggs might be on, he was very poor.

That Damian Reeves wud have netted 5 tonight"

They won't relish playing us again, which is something I didn't think I'd be saying a week ago!!

I think Halifax will easily beat Corby on Thursday and go back above us if we don't win. We need to find out a way to beat bishops Stortford at home, something that so many teams are struggling to do.Id take a draw on Thursday, if we could get one.The key is not losing to BPA and winning the 3 games on paper we should win. Tiredness is kicking in amongst our opponents so I think it was sensible to give the lads a break last night especially if some are under the weather.

Our lads being fresher than Guiseley could be the key element tomorrow night. It won't be easy, but I truly believe we can take the three points.

The only thing that potentially worries me is whether we'll be able to field our best XI in every game from now on (Guiseley game(s) excepted). If we can do that then I'm very confident we can go all the way.

Its not a case of being negative mate, just cautious we don't slip up at home against them like Harrogate,Halifax,Gainsborough and Guiseley all have done. They obviously have a system that works in a lot of away games.

I think you missed the subtlety of that one ATS!

It was a pun of Hamiltonian standard...

But on a serious note, we can only hope the Halifax players are just as fearful as the fans. Somehow I get the feeling that they will be a lot more level headed and generally better placed mentally to cope with the demands though...

It would be nice to see Harrogate get in though. We don't want to play Guiseley ideally; we know we can beat Halifax or Harrogate for sure. If Halifax finish 5th, that means they've continued being shaky. If they drop out, Harrogate will have at least come into the play-offs with a bit of momentum so I'd say I'd prefer that they got a crack at knocking Guiseley out. If Halifax get that momentum, then they'll be ahead of us and leave us to face Guiseley without Bosh...
