I thought the pitch was dreadful. It looked like they were playing on marshmellow. No grip whatsoever. Woking obviously came for a draw and we had no teeth. I went home to watch the rugby after they scored so missed Isaac's injury. I hope it's not too bad.

Only bright point was Justin's appearance. He looked up for it and caused problems once he came on.

If he turns up with his A game Justin defo. If he's not up to speed he's so frustrating. Mind you, the same goes for Angus.
If he's not challenging for the ball when we haven't got possession why is he on the pitch?

What a great result. I don't understand the comments about the team looking tired. They put 120% in to get to 2 - 0 and then had to play their socks off with ten men for the whole of the second half. They should be tired after that. So happy that they didn't concede a second, that would have been gut wrenching. I don't think Matty K will ever learn, it's what makes him tick. Hopefully, Linney will let his boots do the talking. He's certainly proving to be a handful.

Full credit to the Golf Road choir tonight. Easily heard for the whole of the match and great support. Can't always say that when we've got an extra 600 casuals in on a Saturday afternoon.

I can't see Dorking getting relegated. They responded well after the two subs came on and gave us plenty of problems. Well taken Penalty. Matt had no chance even though he went the right way.

I can't disagree with anything MarpleAlty has written.
A couple of things we aren't party to is
a) the number and severity of any niggles that players may be carrying which may or may not affect team selection
and b) the health of the bank balance which would have an impact on dipping into the loan market.

I'm still expecting a top seven finish, just not the third that I did think was on the cards before our last few games.

Our opening goal was against the run of play. They dominated the first half much the same as we did against Hartlepool. We just couldn't put our foot on the ball. We had more chances in the second half as they became tired but we were knackered mentally and physically by then. Definitely an improvement on the Maidenhead game though.

It will be interesting to see the team on Saturday because I think there was quite a few walking wounded out there by full time including CCC.

I've just re-watched the highlights. We were good for fifteen minutes and then we just seemed to lose heart. All credit to Maidenhead.

I think you're wrong on the rain front. It's been raining overnight.
Wythenshawe park is flooded. The railway track is flooded where it goes under Park Road in Timperley, Timperley athletics track is under standing water, as is my son's garden which is close by.

If it does go ahead it will be all credit to the groundsmen and volounteers who well have a real challenge on their hands. Assuming they can get rid of any surface water it's going to be very soft.

I hope it does go ahead just to blot out the pain of Tuesday night's second half.

Probably useless then.

Bury have covered there pitch 100%. Must be expecting a Monsoon

Have we got any?

I see Bury have already got their covers on to save Saturdays game.

I'm just too annoyed to comment.

Next disaster will be Saturday's game rained off.

I'm hoping for an emphatic victory to make up for our dismal performance at their place.
I know there were problems with traffic etc so a reasonable excuse, but lets show them the reason why we are higher up the table.

Covenants can be removed if the beneficiaries are in agreement.

Not sure who the benefiting parties are in this case but I would have thought all the neighbours would be glad to get rid of the crowds and the floodlights.

I think the relocation thing is partly down to the unplayable surface and partly down to the need to move in to to 21st century.

Recent trips to Kidderminster and Solihull show just how far behind the curve we are. Any expansion at Moss Lane would involve eliminating the parking area behind the pop side which in itself would bring new problems.

As far as ground sharing goes there used to be a requirement for premier rugby teams to have a 12,000 capacity. In the light of Worcester and Wasps going belly up I'm not sure that will still apply but certainly Sale would be looking at a venue that could hold 10 - 12K as a minimum.

I think if we had a better stand / stadium we would get bigger crowds. They're never going to be massive because of Old Trafford / Ethiad but no reason why we can't be looking at 5,000 - 6,000. 5000 in the current setup is not a good customer experience imho.

I dont think moving to Broadheath or Dunham would be an option. It's mostly National Trust Land.
