Altrincham FC First Team / David Lynch

I see on the Halifax forum that they are singing his praises and how he has transformed them. I must admit I was one of his biggest critics as I just couldn't see anything in him but obviously Halifax are getting some good performances from him.

Another thing about him is I think we owe him an apology for having a go at his criticism of his time here. He stated that the established and experienced players had let him and the other new arrivals down. After seeing the performances of Moult, Richman, Lawrie and Goodall yesterday and in earlier games, I think I understand where he's coming from now.

Oh and another thing.....on the Guiseley forum, a fan reporting on their defeat at Forest Green and looking for positives said, "Nicky Clee ran his socks off". Obviously is a bit fitter than our previous manager thought!

I don't think I've got the heart to watch that again!

I was actually looking at the division below where you can find Hyde and Droylsden, as well as Scarborough, all in the National League not too long ago!

If we don't pull our fingers out soon I think we will find ourselves playing those teams as well in a couple of years.

Woeful display, Moult, Richmond and Lawrie should be inspiring that squad but nothing, arguably the worst 3 players on the pitch. Should have moved Goodall to midfield where he was intended to play when we signed him, not take him off, why was Hobson playing centre back ? He can't cut it there... I hope JH isn't going to persist in playing players out of position, we had enough of that sh*t  when Sinnot was here.

I'm not interested in who or who isn't on a fkn contract. If we don't act now and get some decent players in pretty damm quick then I can see this season mirroring last season and we will be in deep sh*t by the New Year.

Very worried watching that today, we were watching players who gave me the impression that they lack heart and fight... where have I heard that before.

Thought the new LB was decent..

C'mon Alty ffs

The problem is if a player is contracted he is being paid some of the playing budget and can't just be released therefor making it more difficult to bring fresh blood in.
I hear what your saying but, action is needed now, not in the New Year when we could be adrift.

We need fresh blood now otherwise it will be relegation again and that will not be acceptable in any shape or form

Maybe get players in on a play n pay basis

Problem is, what standard of player do you get on a play n pay basis at this stage of the season? Probably no better than what we already
have here.

If the Board are serious about wanting to get us out of this mess, which they are fully responsible for getting us into, then the FA Cup and
Watmore money has to be spent on settling contracts to get rid of some of the dross and then laying some more cash out to get decent players in, especially any players out there who want to come and play for

Let's face it, if we get relegated we will be facing the 600 - 700 figure crowds we had the last time we were in the "glue" league.

Also lawrie and Miller are luxury players can play one but both doesn't work

Add Wilkinson to that group.....no way can any team afford so many luxury players.

I have to say that to be honest there hasn't been that much improvement on the performances since Young went. Ok we've won 4 games but 2 were against lower league opposition, another one we probably shouldn't have won and the other against a team even worse than us from what I'm told.

Over the years we've had a habit of signing players who had seen better days and I can't help wondering if this is the case with Jim Harvey. Is he past his sell-by date? His signings aren't really very inspiring and the fact that they are players who played for him 5 years ago, makes me worry that his contacts book is no bigger than Lee Sinnott's.

Plenty of teams down there that show how easy it is to go from the National League straight through the Northern section. I see Hednesford down there and to think it's only a couple of years ago that they were challenging us for that play-off Final place.

Has to be one of the most bizarre signings of all time at Alty. Did he actually manage to get a kick of the ball during his few minutes of action?!

The CSH is the one thing that will get certain people at the club the recognition they crave, MBE's, OBE's etc. You don't get those for running a poxy non-league football club.

How poor was Jake Moult though? That has to be one of his worst performances in an Alty shirt. He's not a patch on the player he was a couple of years ago but is it down to how he's being asked to play now I don't know?

Some people said he had a small knob...

Without particularly wanting to speak bad of the dead, others might say he was quite a large nob.

Or, "on the other hand it looked quite big."
Brilliant.....forgot about that!😀

Suppose his complaints at players who were already here must be aimed at Reeves, Lawrie and Richman as everyone else was new to the club. Besides being rubbish, what also struck me was that he was a moaner.

I'll be surprised if he comes back to haunt us.

Feel free to appear from behind the away end snack bar with your camera crew in tow at any time, now we are six points a drift in Regional football. Talk about milking it mate...

He'll have a hell of a job pulling that one off Pete, he's been dead for over 8 years!

Give up, someone will have to explain how to do the linky things to me! See the Daily Mail website and the story of a family of drug dealers in Spain. Masha best friends with one of them and got over 2 years for his involvement! Altrincham Town ffs!

To be fair the article doesn't say Altrincham town, it says Altrincham FC.

Also, highlight the web address that you want to copy in the search bar at the top, right click and then left click copy. Place the mouse
cursor where you want to copy it to, right click again, then click paste. Simple enough once you know how.

They updated the article and corrected themselves after I read it late last night.

Thanks for the instructions, will give them a try next time I see something interesting!
