Hate to depress people but even if we draw the next two games, if everyone around us wins theirs, then by next Tuesday the table could look like this:
Farsley 48
Halifax 46
Northwich 46
----------------
Weymouth 45
Altrincham 39 (R) :o
In other words, we need to be looking for three points tomorrow (as if anyone needed reminding!)
ps. If we lose them both we could be all but relegated by Saturday on our goal difference :o :o

cant see you lot getting anything at Burton to be honest hope we both stay up and hope weymouth go down along with stafford droylesden and halifax and southern team needs to go down for a change!!! >:(
-
Or if we draw our next games and everyone loses theirs it would be a very different story.
Althoughfactually correct I prefer to stay positive and I hate all these must win games which date back to Ashton Utd at home (which we lost)
How many must wins had we before we finally actually had to win one at home to Aldershot last year?
We've just got to go and pick up as many points as we can...then see what happens...If we win our next two and a couple lose theirs....??
My feeling is it will come down to last game at Weymouth which will be a must win game!!!

Am I right in saying that if Stafford and Droylsden fail to win tomorrow they are relegated?

Correct ;D

It's increasingly looking likely. Wouldn't be Alty without last day of the season drama ;D
Have to say my post is a worst case scenario involving everyone else winning. At the moment only Northwich looks likely to actually do that - and we are playing well enough to pick up three points in at least one of the next two games.

Great thread this. Just ruined my day
-
I will feel cheated if it doesn't go to the last game.

Is there a prize for most deflating thread of the season!

Can I cheer you all up? A victory tomorrow at 'very wobbly' Burton. A victory at 'couldn't care less, other things on our minds' Ebbsfleet and a win at home to midtable 'what are we doing playing here on a wet Saturday afternoon' Salisbury. Weymouth match immaterial! ;)

I like your thinking there!! ;D

I am trying my best!

Does that mean we can send Stafford down tomorrow night?
Ha ha, great! A chance to banish clogging anti-football into some feeder league where it belongs!

Well, it's earned me a Peake :D

Whatever happens nothing is set in stone until the A.G.M.

Stafford and Droylsden could even go down if they both win and Alty and Northwich get a draw.
