If we win by 6, we go eigth, and if we somehow win by 11, we even get into 7th!!!

We'll have your twelve quid, no problem. Come and see the game played as it should be.

We cannot go eigth because Rushden & Diamonds & Torquay United play each other on Sunday. So if they draw they will both be on  23 pts. If there is a result whoever wins will have 25 pts, & we will be on 22 pts.

Just a thought: If Rushden win 4-0, we only have to win by 2 goals to go 8th!

(Having said that, my dream scenario would be for us to win and Rushden and Torquay to draw - that way we're only 1 point behind the pair of them!)

I must say though that, over the years, more times than enough I been at Alty in situations like this where expectation is high and it's all gone pear-shaped. I just hope to God that we get a win of ANY sort tomorrow and we all stop tempting fate with all our expectations because we've got on a bit of a run!

At the end of the day, we're clear of the relegation zone and that would do me at the end of the season - I know most of you lot on here would agree with me.

Come on you Supers!   Come on you Supers!   Come on you Supers!   Come on you Supers!   Come on you Supers!   Come on you Supers!

Good point.

We're gonna lose 5-0 and play crap negative football. Half our players will get carted off injured and we'll never get it into their half except for ridiculous long balls into the opposition keepers hands.  ;)

Excellent reverse psychology, Slaka! Why didn't I think of that?  :D

Like GH has been saying, we believe we can take points off anyone.

Teams fear us going forward, which is far better than just being known as a solid team of workers. With Elam, Little and Senior we have a good blend of flair, killer instinct and graft, with Denham to come off the bench!

It will be a tough game today, but now i think the team has belief so anything is possible, will be very happy with a 1-0 or 2-1,but against Oxford a draw would not be a bad result, still fingers crossed for the win.Trouble is i am in work till 1500 so will miss about 20 minutes of the game if there is any radio coverage.
