Glad this thread didn't go completely "off topic"!   ::)

Just to reiterate, Lee and the players all deserve great credit for a good victory and I hope there's plenty more where that came from!

Come on Alty!  :)

Well don Alty, fantastic result! Relly need some momentum off the back of this.

And please can we just ban him, we all know he is incurably racist, whether he was on boxing day or not. It's getting tedious now how we allow it to continue.

What was amusing was the way the number 16 stood arguing with the spectators while the game was in progress.

Did that particular incident remind anyone else of a certain G Heathcote Esq. indulging in a heated debate with the spectators on the Popular Side whilst a match was still in progress during his playing days in the 1970s and 1980s...?!

....was that the argument that the 'cote continued from the touchline through the '90s right up until his resignation?

...as for asking for the  steward closely monitoring a known potential troublemaker.........I'd have thought that would be standard practice........if you have a naughty child in the class you make them sit at the front so the teacher can keep an eye on them.....maybe the permanent steward attachment is a step too far, but what we have at the moment is a step not enough.........given that certain people are known to become so out of control they should not have been allowed in
