Farewell Damo. Too many recent so called managers didn't play you anywhere nearly enough. Now look where we are due to there fkn incompetence.

Best wishes wherever you choose to play..

Like most, saddened but not surprised that Damien has decided to hang up his red & white shirt.

What's an Altrincham player got to do to get a testimonial match these days?

Really sorry to see Damien go

I was really surprised he didn't decide to leave after last season's debacle

I imagine he wished he had

He is right up there for me with Coburn and little to name but 2

Got dragged down by the debacle of the the last 18 months

Good luck for next season and thank you

Thanks for everything Damian, wonderful memories of your goals.

Legend is dished out to easily these days but you'll go down in the history books which should be a source of pride for you.

All the best.

That's right.  Although legendary status is sometimes gained too easily nowadays, being the second (or even possibly the third) highest goalscorer of all time for the  club must qualify as a genuine legend.
Also, at 31, which is the age Colin Little was when he first joined us, there can be plenty more goals in a player who has tended to remain free from injury, so all the best for the future!

Saddened to see him go.

Don't blame him one jot tho'.

He was loyal to the club and it was not reciprocated in recent times.

Our mistake, our loss...

Good luck wherever you go, which I doubt will be the Prit Stik League

Can see someone like York taking a punt on him initially, but I think he'll probably end up at Farsley. Either way, he'll end up nearer to home, which will probably suit him better.

I'd ruled out Farsley,  since he won't relish being teamed with Wally. Gainsborough would be a good shout....only down the road for him.

Yep, Gainsborough is a decent shout. I think they were interested in him a few years ago.

I think we should replace Colin Little (top right) picture with Damians until a new 30 goal a season striker is found

Can only think Damian is going for a combination of Conf N £ / less travelling (training) / change of scenery to recovery his appetite. I was told on good authority he turned down a loan move to Boston towards the end of the season and I'm not so sure Gainsborough are the £ bags they once were. Steve Housham was their manager then so perhaps North Ferriby might be a good bet?
