Anthony Danylyk's Injury
« on: December 28, 2008, 07:58:59 PM »

Spoke to a First aider whilst getting in my car and he said that Danylyk was still being looked at by doctor. He didn't think that there had been a break. I really hope so.

Other points, why didn't the York physio help ? And the crowd reaction when he was being carried off, awful.

Dale Johnson was immense, I really think he will be looked at seriously between now and end of season.

How many times have we heard the opposition say "we were torn apart by their 14 today" or "that Johnson lad is one of the best players I've seen in the Conference this season". Hope we can keep hold of him but I fear we may have to just enjoy his magic for the rest of this season. It will take a lot of loyalty for him to stay in the summer.

Danylyk's injury is suspected ankle ligament damage, so not as bad as first feared but still out for around a month I think.

Ankle ligaments. Don't know how bad but can't see him playing Thursday.

And yes the York's crowds reaction was disgraceful.

Top result and great second half performance.

I twisted my ankle a few years back, and did my ligaments, its never been the same since !

Sometimes its better to break the bloody thing. What a dampner on an excellent Christmas so far.

This is actually true. A month out is very very optimistic for ankle ligaments.
