Hard to say but good to see them sending a team down, seems a while since they had ?? could be wrong though ?

What you will get though is whether youth \ Reserves or under 5's is a team that will make us work for the ball and give us a good run out (or is that run a round  ;D )

I don't see why Rotherham United wouldn't play a few first teamers.

Last time united sent a XI team i think a couple first teamers played (butt and scholes?). Decent game too. Think it was back in the 97/98 season on the 8th augd, when a united team came. so only 10 years(?) then. i may be wrong.....

However united play on the 17 July against Urawa Red Diamonds in Japan, so dont think many first teamers will be in the squad. There could be a couple returning from injury or more likely, reservists and youth.

What year was it David Beckham played? Start of 95-96? He scored from outside the box. I remember it being 1-1 and the same season we drew a Liverpool side 3-3 with Jan Molby playing.

Not sure of the exact year, it was however a week before he scored that goal against Wimbledon. his goal at Moss Lane was a beaut, chip from outside the area into the top corner. I wasn't at the Utd friendly that Scholes played in but apparently his goal was mint too.

Yeah, I recall some crackers against MUFC Ressies/kids in the mid 90s. It's been a while now since we played them but glad to see it's been re-established. Sad fact of life though that it will almost certainly be our biggest gate of next season. Last time we played them Danny Webber was the main man in their youth ranks at the time.

They wouldnt want to risk their new big signings against a non league team. i do think it will be the reserves/youth with maybe 1 or 2 first teamers in (if youre lucky)
