Title: **Attention TWITTER Users : Follow the Robins**

All,

For those amongst you who use Twitter, please add the new Altrincham FC page to your account.  Due to my inability to help the club financially this year I have decided to use some of my online knowledge to try and raise the profile of the club, which could indirectly raise some funds.  Of course, your first port of call will always be the clubs official website but this is just another way of connecting with people.

The club will use it as another way of communicating with fans, there may even be some special offers for twitter followers so if you haven't got a twitter account go to http://twitter.com and signup today, its free and quick.

If we want to be a progressive club we have to keep pace with off the field channels to compliment our superb website run by John.  We've got Ebay working well, Facebook groups and now Twitter.

So follow the Robins today.....

Excellent..we now have a few more with people joining for the first time.  Just click on setting on there personalise your profile with pictures and stuff...

If you were to start following some other people including some of your followers it would raise your profile even further.

Generally if I come across a Twitter page where it has hundreds of followers but they don't follow anyone themselves I click away. If they can't play ball then why should I.

Ecky, do you do the twitter account or is it someone else?  Just doesn't seem to get updated much, and it's almost up to 500 followers, of which I'm sure some are real.  I use my twitter heavily so I'd be happy to help update it?
