He got back to playing and revived his career in the game, we got two years out of a talent that should never have been here in the first place, and I am sure we've banked a very healthy fee on his departure. Everyone won in the end.

All the best to him. Now let's bring in some players.

Interestingly, their local press is reporting that they met a buy-out clause in the contract.

Should have been set at a decent amount I would imagine.

My query was about me rather hoping that we 'sold' him on the basis he would not play against us.......but if, as we believe, a release fee clause has been triggered, then maybe no such deal could be struck.

Remember the play off versus Guiseley when their player manager agreed not to play for them after we released him ?.......Boshell ?
