We are staying up, its not official on here but im sure someone has said we have definately been given a reprieve simply becuase of the number of texts i am getting off alty fans saying so! Also someone a friend of mine is mates with second in line at peterborough, and he has said they will be signing shotton full time in the summer, any thoughts?
-
Someone told me Shotton would be joining Peterborough. Halifax have been relegated to the Unibond so a reprieve is now certain.
-
Until I see it posted somewhere officially I will not believe we have reprieve.

Yes, no confirmation from the Conf board as yet.
Maybe we might he something during the Barrow / Vegas game tonight.
-
Whilst it looks certain, it has to go to the FA and the Conference.
I'd like to see a quote from a conference official to confirm!
-
it is certain, i know GH's wife and she told me this evening
we are definitely back up
COME ON THE ALTY
-
It's been on the radio, the news and in the Halifax Courier that they have gone into liquidation...that appears to be certain...now I just want to hear someone say...Alty are reprieved!
-
Does the club need the shirts back i.e the ones thrown into the crowd at full time at Weymouth ?...............................only joking.
Sad to see the demise of another club, but only from the Halifax fans' point of view.............a sensible board would have taken them part-time a few years ago and a Fax fan at work is livid that this did not happen. He says it was discussed.
If the reprieve does come, then it will have come earlier than usual ! More time to plan for next season maybe ?
-
Will it not be official until the AGM? Like some others I want this in black & white
-
Official sources at the club expect an announcement on it early next week.
We would not have to wait until the AGM though.
-
From what I understand, Halifax have not been officially liquidated. They have failed to reach an agreement with their creditors - which, according to their administrator, will almost certainly lead to the liquidation of the club. It will probably be early next week when the paperwork is officially submitted.
They have, however, failed to exit administration before the conference deadline which, unless the conference show leniency, will mean they are removed from the conference set up to the Unibond. If/when they are liquidated the new "AFC" club will probably end up in the Unibond anyway - so it makes sense for them to liquidate the old club, wipe out the debts and start again.

Well, don't get too excited, but Matthew Berkeley's shirt is up for grabs on eBay:

And, therefore, less room for excuses!

i am going to wait till i see the fixture list, they might just let both stallybridge and barrow come up. you never know.

I think Hampton and Richmond would have something to say about that!
