A good performance against the Cheshire Women's League Division 2 Champions.
Courtney Williams the scorer for Alty.

For a first foray into open age football with the majority playing at that level for the first time after only two training sessions and with a number of new players added to the squad who had never played together it was an excellent performance against a much more experienced group including a number of players who had been members of the FCUM first team squad last season
Was very pleasing to see Goalkeeper Lucy O'Dwyer make her return after over a year out with an ACL injur.

As has been said earlier the Development Team (who were incidentally the better side from start to finish IMHO) came back very well from an early setback to "boss the game" and win probably more convincingly than the scoreline suggests.
Two goals by Sabrina showing differing attributes to her game and an excellent header by Courtney did the trick.
I have watched the majority of the players over the past two seasons and, if you find yourself with some spare time on a Sunday afternoon when they are at home I wouldn't hesitate to recommend doing so

A very creditable performance against a more experienced and robust team on Sunday.
The young Lady Robins stood up well to an examination of their temperament and physical resilience in all probability playing the better football over the piece
Inexperience of game management seemed ultimately to be their downfall
Again though some very good performances

Good win for the Development Squad who didn't let up the pressure, pushing on until the final whistle
A mention too must go to Macclesfield who continued to play with commendable spirit and perseverance for the entire game despite the score. Moreover, unlike some teams we have met in the past, they never resorted to over physical tactics.
