Purely for fun would anyone like to speculate what it would cost to buy all the current crop of loan players?

Depends on their contract status and what their clubs see them in a year's time. I think shotts is £250k+ but maybe a few thousand each for the others at the moment. Cahill has talent but looking at the parent club website I think there's doubts about the mental side to his game.

There isn't a great deal of money going about these days between the clubs in the lower leagues. I don't think they would cost a fortune in terms of transfer fees - wages is a different matter entirely! Sadly, many of these kids are eventually released by their clubs. JJ has the best chance of making it higher, thus commanding a significant transfer fee, because quality left backs are few in number and he does seem very composed on the ball.

Haven't 1 or 2 of the lads just signed new contracts too.

I hope we can keep them until the end of the season! Would be such a boost to know they are here to fight for the cause right to the end.
