To be fair toffee the evidence would suggest Bowerman is not good enough

This is a shame in many ways, as Bowerman was the only one of our summer signings that we actually saw in pre-season action, wasn't he?  Therefore the assumption is he showed the manager enough to make him want to sign him.

I think, assuming there are no behind the scenes issues, that he at least has something to offer. Not much but given the shortages we have I thought he may have featured a little bit more recently.

I'd conclude that Lee Sinnott has seen enough of him in the heat of battle to have made a decision about his reliability/usefulness. Players have come back from similar situations before both here and at other clubs to have a future of sorts (albeit usually after a change of manager) of course but I'm not sure we'll see much of him in any meaningful form now.

Whats the common denominator between all these conversations on the last few threads?

I just love the confusion we have now at this club.....it may be a sort of striker to play behind reeves or rankine...like james lawrie.....but most of the time that striker behind the striker (ie james lawrie) is played OUT OF POSITION ON THE WING!!!

We needed a left and a right winger we now have two right wingers......maybe we are signing a striker who can play centre half/left back?

Lee did brilliantly to get a keeper who is of such quality we've almost forgotten Stu......he bought in parry to replace masha....but then sam heathcote and scott were suddenly deemed ok.......I thought oh yes finally when we signed a right winger then we get another.......then we just seem to lose all focus on what we need!!???

Griffiths was the sort of player we needed to stop the struggles against leamingtons and bognors and control league matches more and we need a replacement for nicky.......and hope everyone else remains fit....

Lee is so sensible at close season and on occasions during the season and we occasionally play some lovely stuff, we beat Barnsley, good performance at Colchester (albeit I posted beforehand can we strengthen for this pivittal moment).......but then sometimes........oh come on alty you bastards!!!!

Scott Leather replaced Tom Marshall. Andy Parry was brought in afterwards, when Luca was injured.

It's more than a shame mate, it's a real worry

A real worry that management don't understand what is needed for this level
