Besides you will probably get Matt Berkeley, because it looks like he is on the way out of Hyde!  ;)

He should either commit to Alty until atleast the end of the season with a clause sayin he can leave for free to a league club with Alty getting a percentage of any sell on fee or leave now and let us rebuild.

Anybody find that a bit odd? I'm sure teams used to put in official approaches for players behind the scenes and with a bit of dignity.

We've put in 7 days notice for somebody else's player? That's nice, what do you want, a chufty badge? Bit rude unless you know he's going to sign.

Wouldn't ''we've also put in 7 days notice from a promising striker with a good recent record at this level" be more appropriate rather than this or am I being old fashioned.

- I'm pretty certain Lee Sinnott didn't really want to have to say anything about this in the first place by the way.

Two facts:

The bloke is FL quality.
Hyde aren't.

I see no reason why he'd quit Alty for Hyde at the moment other than financial.

Agree    I know we don't like contracts,but we need some stability.  I hope he stays and gets a League club later.

Incidentally,could a league club come in for him after the league transfer window, if he's on a contract?

If he signed at Hyde ubtill end of 2013 season he would be virtually guaranteed at BSP football next season.

You are a better team but please don't try and tell us you pay the players in buttons. 

Players like Adam Griffin who was player of the year at Stockport don't just come to Hyde 'cos its close to the baths.
