HUGE win tonight, we are right in the mix now and full credit to Lee and the board as we now look to have assembled a decent squad for the run in with the new signings

As for the sheepshaggers, I note they were two down, even still the trapdoor beckons ever wider for them.

For once on Saturday I will be cheering on our old friend Steve Evans and his rapidly imploding Crawley outfit.

First half was very disjointed, it seemed to make no difference that they had ten men and we looked shaky all over.  They look to have some quality players there and we weren't at the races even though we had more chances (if that makes sense)

Second half was different, we went for it more and Reeves goal was sublime.

Also got no idea two Flynns goal went iin but they all count!

Appalling turnout from Stalybridge with 105 on the terraces but I suppose it was still wonderful to have someone to wave at.

That tool in the bobble hat offerning McGivern out would have got a shock and the bloke doing the crocodile impressions was just a biscuit.

A hard fought win.

Thought McGivern looked excellent, great control and turn of pace and could have had a goal as well.

Three points I didnt think we'd get at half time so delighted!

105, is that it? That is pisspoor. Sadly the bumper gate receipts we give to all 3 Tameside clubs is a one way street.

105 Stalybridge.  I have to say I thought they'd bring less than that. As you say it must have been good to have some away fans to wave / take the p1ss out of.

hard to hear if there was any atmosphere via Radio Robins but in my head the Golf Road was loud and bouncing.

Probably a few more in the stand but thats piss poor from a team that gets 500 at home.
