On the facebook group "fans of blue square premier teams" (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2575576469) there's a thread going about the demise of Halifax. Someone from Leeds (no idea what team they follow) has posted:

"have to feel sorry for Halifax but the ground was a mess & I hated going there. the fans & stewards were nasty. but then I like going to Alty, everyones so friendly, the ground is easy to get to by train & there are some nice friendly pubs there, so if its a choice between Alty & halifax then Alty wins"

Nice to hear people with a positive opinion of the club.  Been starting to feel like everyone hates us in recent weeks!
