As does the standing season ticket price.............so in real terms a 9.5% increase because there are two fewer games than last season to watch

Yes but from season 13/14  to 14/15, the increase in 2 games only cost you 1.9% increase, for 2 more games and a move to conference premier and there have been no increases since !

My post was highlighting a fact - not a complaint

Your post to be fair is pointing out another fact and is a fair point as well

We're all for fair points on here - I left out the like for like from 13/14 to now which is 11% increase over 3 years for the same number of games in same division - seems a bit hefty for 3 years of inflation but I didnt find the history going back earlier than this so its hard to say.

But I think its a fair price, and I think the Chairman quoted only about 25-30% of the club income is from gate receipts.

I agree, its hard enough knowing who is who but when names are continually changed its very difficult.

I've just remembered the similarity to when GH left and Kenny Mc was made manager to the end of the season and we got relegated by the skin of our teeth.

at the time of Mark Ecky standing down and looking for a replacement - was a replacement found and accepted or did it die out ?

On the back of the above comments I was having a google and came across the old Alty Forum  -  dating from 2000 - 2006 - some interesting threads on there just having a gander through, especially for someone like me who wasnt living in Alty until 2006 so wasnt aware of a lot of the old stuff.

I don't think they care which league we are in. They are happy building up the sports hall, using it as their own social club and keeping the club ticking over.

Seriously this sort of talk is getting really really boring now !

With a gate of 1000 people and no sugar daddy we're a conf north club, we escaped relegation about 4 times, bounced back up (with an extra push from DW money) and were ok 1st year and now we're back struggling and overspending.

I used to enjoy this forum but its getting destroyed at present.

Why do you think it is getting destroyed, because my opinion is different than yours? Why do we heed a sugar daddy to be respectful to supporters, strive to be as successful as we can be and not think that they are above the club and its supporters. We could have had a chance of staying up if we hadn't have appointed Tolson. Why have we only had 1 outside board member in 13 years?

And more importantly why don't you want the best for the club? This club has potential and the custodians should be striving to achieve that potential, at present I don't think that's happening which is shameful.

At what point have I said I dont want whats best for the club?

Having just checked my credit card statement the £10 I deposited has attracted a "Quasi-Cash" fee of £3 - apparently as "Football Buster" is treated as gambling it is then treated as a cash advance/withdrawal from my credit card!

So far my £5, entry has cost me £13 - because somehow it entered me 3 times then reduced down to 2 entries and now a £3 charge - I despise paying bank charges!

FootballBuster is currently down from the look of it - hope they havent gone "Bust"

I'll not be entering again !
