Obviously it happened at a game I couldn't attend. Delighted with that though!

Anyone who was debating getting over to Halifax to support the lads next Saturday, have they not given you reason to today?

Great win.

I haven't been on here for a while, due to all the recent negativity.

Disappointed, but not surprised, that the forum hasn't been lit up following that performance and win.

Indeed,

Perhaps they all headed for the bar to celebrate.

Even the pitch played well today.

On that showing I would say we ought to catch Aldershot before the end of the season

A thrashing, a clean sheet, moved out of the relegation zone. A fantastic day all round.

However, it's still only one game and next weekend will be huge, not time to get ahead of ourselves just yet.

It was a terrific performance. True, Aldershot were abysmal, but you can only beat what is in front of you and we did it very, very convincingly. A special mention for our keeper today. Those 3 saves at the end of the first half killed the opposition's morale - well done Tim. Jake was my motm, but Gino's goal was something else. The ref was easily the worst I've seen this season and I mean easily. It was great to see Buzz stream on to the pitch when we scored - boy have we missed that!

Also great to see the Aldershot fans clap Gino off when he was taken off

Enjoyed today, players looked as though they enjoyed it too. Good performance all round and having Buzz back and on the touchline with Tolson feels right. Onto Halifax now.

I dobt think any real fans want us to lose and ultimately get relegated do they .. ? If they do they are not alty fans

A lot has been said on this forum of late about somethings .. but all I see is loyal fans who want us to play in this league next season

Thoroughly enjoyed that today. Well played all, special mention to Tim Deasy for those saves just before half-time, which could just have changed the course of the game.

Full credit to Neil Tolson and the players today, a good performance, 4 goals, clean sheet and huge confidence boost. However, one swallow doesn't make a Summer and Aldershot were poor. We won't know who was right and wrong until the end of April, but I would bet anyone who was at Barrow, as I was, wouldn't have predicted that today and anyone who says they did, are lying. We're off the mark under Tolson, let's move on to next weekend.

That's a good point. I don't think the players did much different today than they have been doing for months on end, apart from scoring. I really hope that today precipitates a meaningful upturn, much as I'd hoped for after the Woking game.
