Alty 1 Histon 0
Reeves 14

544

We start like a train but they end on top and its very nervy.

I hope as many people will stay under the roof on the side and get behind the lads when we shoot that way.   We must be loud and proud all night and we'll get the right result.

IF we could start with the same belief in and commitment to attacking as we showed in the second half at Kidderminster there is no reason why we can't beat Histon, and beat them well. What I fear is a performance similar to that in the first half against H&Y - nervous, unwilling to risk anything and consequently going behind to a vastly inferior side. What can't be predicted, I'm afraid, is which Alty will turn up on the night. 3-0 if the Kiddy second half version; 2-1 at best, but more likely 1-1 or 1-2 if the H&Y version. Crowd around 500-600; less than 20 visiting fans.

I really hope they are much higher than predicted but I just can't see it.    :(

I think that I am right in saying that we have six Sat. home games left & a
possible four Tues. night home games. We certainly don't want anymore
Sat.postponements because I can only see one of those Tues.games
attracting anything like a decent gate.

I reckon we can really put the hoofers of histon to the sword tomorrow.
3 - 0 Alty hope the crowd turn out but I really fear it will be a sh*t attendance.

Make the effort to get there if at all possible.

Nothing short of a win tomorrow will be good enough Im afraid to say..

We can do it

Onwards and Upwards

Cmon ALTY.

Hate to say it, but without decent gates, the finances will soon start to stifle the 'push' to stay in this league........here's hoping everybody can get down and buy a pie or a pint etc...it's a key game

We're preaching to the converted on here though aren't we.

As Hughsey says, we can do all we can to publicise the game on Facebook and Twitter.

However until the club can either:

A) Stumble across someone who has some hours to spare and market the club

B) Stumble across someone willing to pay someone to market the club

then it simply isnt going to happen.

People are not just going to come.  We have to go out and get them, educate them on what they are missing and turn them into fans.

This isnt a criticsm of any of the great people who already gives as many hours as they can but it needs saying I'm afraid.

The Southport initiative was superb but it has to be a never ending process and we need manpower to do that.

I'll gladly be wrong but tomorrows crowd will not be above 650 so people who are going to be shocked by that should brace themselves now.
