This has to be the silliest idea ever. How can thousands of people vote for team selection when 99% of them have never heard of any of the players? None of these people knew what team they were buying. Halifax were favourites for a while. It can't possibly work. This looks like an attempt to bring communism into football, power to the people and all that rubbish. In theory communism was a great idea, but with one major fault, it doesn't work. Now i hear there is another site set up to take over another club. The club they want will have little or no debt, be in the BSP and have the potential to improve their current position and stadium facilities. They said nothing about being based in Moss Lane but this is worrying.

I'm not the biggest fan of the Ebbsfleet either. I expect they may have some success though (at least initially), their budget will be significantly increased for a start.
This isn't communism, quite clearly. Bringing politics onto this board is probably a bad idea especially with a lack of knowledge, this is more similar to pure democracy.
I doubt there is much more demand for this sort of thing, most people will join the original site if any. I expect the second site to struggle.

I'm all for people putting in like this. In fact its a great idea until you give them the ability to pick the team. If they just had a say in off the field matters and transfer targets (i.e. how much to spend, not exact players). Its a one or two man job to run a team, sometimes when there's two it breaks down, when there's thousands there's only one direction.
This will never happen to Altrincham FC, don't worry about that!

oh here we go teasy moaing again!!!

I'm groaning actually. Whatever ::)

I agree that only one person should be responsible for team selection and making major decisions like who to buy/sell and how much to pay. But people won't join something like this unless they are offered a say in the big decisions. If they are just fobbed off with voting on trivial matters they will keep their £35 and spend it on beer like normal people.
-
Normal people spend their £35 on porn !!!
-
Jenga you should know better than that. Nobody spends money on porn nowadays. Thanks to the internet it is free.

Webbsfleet's new owners are very keen to pick the team, but less keen to actually watch their new team play...another woeful turnout at Woking. Just how will they decide who to pick, transfer, chastise, and send to the naughty step unless they actually watch them...or is there a webbsfleet tv channel n the pipeline?

football fans in moaning about having too much say in the way a club is run shocker
