Same starting 11 with the exception of Malarkey in for Hannigan.
Alty 2-0 Gateshead Hulme, Wall
Attn 800

Gateshead have been going well, and will give us a stiff workout. I take us to win 2-1.
-
Going to be a cold one tonight, expecting a tough hard game. If we turn up like we know we can do then a good result is possible.
Same starting 11 I guess barring any injuries. Come on Alty.
-
2-0 up at HT.
-
Three up. Eyes starting to look at York and Pompey.

What's the matter with the Match Centre on the OS? Clunky and hit and miss if you get connected or returned to the preview. It's useless.
-
A very very professional performance . Tight at the back and clinical at the front . They are no mugs . Well done Alty

It is very poor, didn't even list the teams tonight.

Clinical.

How's Luke Wall looked? That's two starts and two wins for him but I've not heard anything on his performances.

He's doing well, solid, nothing fancy looks decent. Just needs to build his fitness.

He's done ok, solid without being spectacular. He's wont be match fit and he's getting used to our style of play. Decent start though.

Two well matched teams apart from the final third. Thought 3-0 flattered us but I don't recall Thompson making any meaningful save.
My mom was White, but it could have been any number of players so Hannigan was fair enough.
Luke Wall did ok as he did on Saturday.
-
Thoroughly deserved the win. Very impressive, solid performance, all the team did well.
Hannigan was MoM but also impressed with Mullarkey, Dens and Williams tonight. Many in the whole team could have got MoM, shaping up nicely, keep it going lads!
-
I thought we were great - patient and took our chances when they came. Chilly, but certainly not the worst it's been.
The influence of Williams in the middle of the park seems to be increasing by the game, really dictated things for me.
Wall seems to have a decent work ethic, would be keen to see him get more match fitness under his belt and see what he can do from there.
Still reckon we'll be there or thereabouts in the playoff picture.

After the substitutions we switched to 4-5-1 and I suspect PP is considering this for Portsmouth. Gateshead were allowed plenty of possession, but never seriously troubled our defence.
-
Phil seemed very vocal with instructions and encouragement too especially 2nd half. Really looking fwd to Pompey.
-
That’s another great win against a decent and full time Gateshead who ran Oldham very close last week in the Cup.
Needed too as that’s it for us now in the league for 2.5 weeks. Of note we haven’t played a single game against the bottom 4 yet, once the league campaign resumes with BPA, Blyth and then Curzon x2 in short order we can definitely make some ground.
-
Very good preperation for the pompey match i thought against a fast passing fit outfit....i suspect portsmouth may have more potency but we held gateshead off at arms length forcing them sideways and back but broke quickly when we won the ball.
Very very professional performance.

Any highlights yet? SBL
