And if you look carefully at the background of the Watford/Coventry match in 1986 you'll see one of Watford's defenders, blurred and almost obscured by the weather, observing the action. He was only twenty then, had a lot more hair and didn't commute from Hull, but it's him; watching, learning .. Sinnout in the snow!  ;)

The Oventry player in that picture, Trevor Peake played against us a number of times for Nuneaton Borough from 79 onwards

Love that picture of fans queuing outside Highbury in 1938, almost 100% male. nearly all wearing hats and ties, no one encroaching onto the pavement, not just from a different time it looks like another world.
