Complete lack of professionalism from the little T**t with the mullet
Anyway, not clicked on Buttys link but here is a clip of a ballboy taking a goal kick and booting it into the goal. The ref appears to give a goal. Presumably under the impression it was the keeper who kicked it into the net.
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=vQx2_KQVkpI&NR=1Now, ATS and others will advise but from what I remember of passing my laws of the game test (96%
) I thikn the decision is wrong anyway. If a goalkeeper turns round and boots a goal kick into the net the correct decision is a....CORNER
The bal must leave the area but in this instance the goal is merely the bye line..... I think.
Likewise, if you have a free kick anywhere on the pitch and pass it all the way back via a couple of your players and kick it in your net without an opposition player touching the ball then that too would be a corner..... I think.
