I know it is a pretty crap excuse, but could we pin some blame on the referee for a number of poor decisions? I was watching on TV and the commentators said a number of times, that should have been red. They also said that Scotty was "The unluckiest man in the world" after his sending off. He repeatedly gave their Number 13 warnings, yet only cautioned him in the second half, and there was a few stamps gone unnoticed.

Said it elsewhere here the ref was very poor, his lack of action on Weymouths no19 lead to the first goal and some of weymouths tackles were very poor indeed and deserved the red card, but i think the Ref was playing to the TV cameras. The linesmen had good games though

two waist high stud high lunges resulting in two yellows not two reds.

scotty's challenge was at least on the ground.....I'd love to know if the straight red was for putting up an arm to defend himself or the tackle.

Yep sh*te ref without whom the game couldn't go ahead apparently.

Weymouth seemed strangely up for it and appeared to hate us for some reason!!!

FA rules are so poor that, because the FA took action at the time, they cannot review these incidents posthumously. I know it won't change the result now, but the FA must put moves in place to stop such rediculous and dangerous tackles.

Bloody hell!

I knew that we had been relegated.....but I didn't realise that we had died as well!

Oh well, at least that means I won't have to pay money to watch Alfreton next season....
