You have to have sympathy for the true supporters

Perhaps we should invite all the Chester fans to come along to tomorrow's match v Grays ? That should boost the attendnace

Local radio stations have announced the news, its about time really...The conference only have themselves to blame. Chester was in crisis when they got relegated from the football league, and it was clear then the club was run by a bunch of charleton’s. The fate of their club should have been decided in the summer, and the same thing should have happened to them as did to Boston. Once again its a prime example of this league being run but monkeys.

You can't call them 'Monkeys' ?

That's another letter on the way from Mr Strudwick I suspect !

Chester gone..
Portsmouth in Administartion,
Winding up petition on Bournemouth
,

at this rate Alty could end up in Division Two come next season by default !!

Add to Pompey and Bournemouth, West Ham and Southampton.  all four clubs came mighty close to going under.
The common denominator >>>>>> H Redknapp

I have always had my doubts about that bloke.

Portsmouth are only docked 9 points because they only play 38 matches to our 46 !

Wrexham are/will be on 40 points rather than 41 having the same games played as us in the new table.
Also plus points as;
1. we are 4 points behind crawley with 3 games in hand
2. we are 2 points behind kiddie with a game in hand
3. we are 6 points behind mansfield with 2 games in hand

so it's not all bad news for us!

Sympathy yes, but to start grave robbing would be a bit crass just now. To many the loss of the club even after the last few years will be like a family bereavement. Terribly sad stuff, all avoidable too. Best wishes Chester fans.

you are not alone.  you, me and the tax man at least.  he gives the impression of being a strightforward bloke but beneath the surface I'm not so sure.
I'd not lend him last weeks radio times.

I would go further......free entry to Chester City season ticket holders...that way it is a genuine gesture for them to enjoy some football.

Harry Redknapp always seemed stunned when he is interviewed about Pompey's finances...yeah one minute we're fine then suddenly all this mess unravels from nowhere!!!!
