For me it shouldn't go to a vote the Conference board should decide.

Let them finish the season. It will cause too much disruption if they are thrown out now.

They can use Mansfield's reserve team on loan!

They are totally unable to finish the season.

That didn't stop Lancaster City, Weymouth or Durham City. They can play trialists, youth players, free loan players and local kids.

Which would give an unfair advantage to everyone else they've still to play. They HAVE to go !

They aren't allowed in their own ground, have no coach company and no players and have no money to remedy these problems.
It is irrelevant which way the vote goes.

This. The Mansfield chairman is an ignorant man. He talked about loaning them players - they're not allowed to accept any because they're under a f**king transfer embargo. What a moron.

I know for a fact there are a couple of clubs who, purely out of self-interest, will vote to retain Chester or alternatively abstain from the vote. Personally I think that's a total disgrace. The fans of Chester themselves are pleading to be put out of their misery, and you get people trying to keep them in order to keep 6 points? Where's the integrity amongst these chairmen?

It wouldn't be fair to teams like Wimbledon who lost to Chester when they were a vaguely reasonable outfit were other teams awarded three points without even having to play them. Admittedly, having all results expunged is far from ideal, but it's easily the fairest solution.

It would be a farce if the turkeys voted for xmas and then Chester failed to fulfil their fixtures....and they will fail to fulfil their fixtures.

Anyone know how we will be voting?

I suppose it would be best if we listened to the discussion at the meeting before deciding, but most clubs seem to have made up their minds already.

I'd have thought our board would have the integrity to vote for expulsion, irrespective of the 4 points collected.

I think you're 100% correct. In fact I'd be disappointed with them if they did anything else given that Chester are not going to be able to finish the season anyway whatever happens. If they definitely could, that might be another matter for which a precedent has already been set. How could you trust any promises coming out of the management there now though?
