Tamworth Match Thread
« on: April 28, 2017, 12:26:10 PM »

Wow what a car crash of season it's been.

No doubt the last time many will be involved for Altrincham FC. Glad to see the back of most but there will be some who over the years have contributed to many a happy memory.

Can't make the game so travel safe and good luck.

I'm not really sure why anyone is sad about departing players! I can't wait to see the back of them.

I'm pretty sure he will be rightly referring to Reevesie, who may not be perfect but certainly deserves to be remembered as a club legend for his stats here.

The time for tributes will be when a decision is made I know.

Whatever happens today, Damien Reeves should be given a rousing round of applause as he exits the field (assuming he features).

Say what you want about this season but he's been a great servant to the club, may never see a player score 40 goals for us in a season in my lifetime.

For me he should start today and get subbed with 2 minutes to go to allow us to show our appreciation.
