There has been a lot of media interest in Sunday's Emirates FA Cup 2nd Round game at Colchester that we would like to make all Alty fans aware of.

ITV Granada  were filming at training last night & there will be a feature on ITV's  'Granada Reports' programme tonight around 6.15pm.

The BBC were also filming at training last night & there will be a feature on BBC 1 on 'North West Tonight' around 6.45pm tonight.

Radio 5 Live will be interviewing Lee Sinnott on their '5 Live Sport' programme which starts at 9pm tonight. Lee is scheduled to be interviewed between 9.05-9.15pm & as well as talking about Sunday's game, he will be discussing Duncan Watmore's sensational progress at Sunderland.

The Times have interviewed Lee Sinnott this week & had a photographer at training last night.Their feature is scheduled to be published either in 'The Times' on Saturday or 'The Sunday Times' on..........Sunday!

Michael Rankine & Damian Reeves have been interviewed by National Newspapers during the last 24 hours, so watch out for those articles.

For the Manchester Evening News, John Edwards has compiled features for both today's & tomorrow's paper, so Alty fans are not short of reading & viewing material over the next 48 hours!

In addition to those listed by Brian, Joe Bernstein from the Daily Mail has conducted a sitdown face-to-face interview with Lee (ie not just a phone call) and it is due to be published in this weekend's Mail on Sunday...

In addition, we were also featured on BT Sport's FA Cup 2nd round preview last night. Presume it will be repeated across the 3 BT sport channels throughout today.

The show is 30 minutes long and we feature towards the end of the programme. Probably a 3 or 4 minute feature.

Slightly off tack the trailer for tonight's Salford game keeps getting repeated just before the hour every hour on the bbc news channel.

Which lead to me giving an involuntary cheer when it was on at work because it involves Reeves goal (from camera behind the goal) and the mobbing of Alty players in the pitch invasion.
