Wasn't there a character in a Bond film called Domino? I think it was Kim Bassinger in Never Say Never Again?

Going back on topic, there were 2 classic lines by Jamie on the way back from Gainsborough.Think it might have been the Trophy game.

He was going through the ads in the programme and saw one for a chippy with the slogan 'Fish is our dish'....so Jamie duly phoned them and asked them 'Is fish your dish?'

There was another ad for milk.Rang them up again asking to place an order 'for Gainsborough Trinity Football Club for the players after training on Tuesday' and that 'i look forward to the milk'

and Thunderball: Apart from Connery, the principal parts were hotly contested. For the lead Bond girl, Domino, a slew of top female actresses were considered including Raquel Welch, Julie Christie, and Faye Dunaway but the role went to former Miss France Claudine Auger

The lever is the greatest discovery of all.  Not the wheel, nor the bigger wheel.

I'd hate to be pedantic but the lever may have been the greatest 'discovery of all' but is it really an 'invention' ?

Any Tom Dick or Harry (or Issac Newton in the case of gravity) can come along and 'discover' something, it take's real genius to actually 'invent' something like a wheel, big wheel or sliced bread ?

For example, most people on here have 'discovered' that Altrincham FC are the best football team since sliced bread, but the guy who invented them ? Well that was pure genius ? (and depending when sliced bread was invented, may have even been before sliced bread was invented ?) - Now that is a true genius ?

I rest my case !  ::)

Hengist Pod discovered the wheel in Carry on Cleo - though it was square & not very good.

His wife was called Senna!
